Former Republican Party and Democratic Party CIA Directors Michael Hayden and John Brennan have agreed and specified that Trump should be put to death and that he committed treason, backed by former Army prosecutor Glenn Kirschner.

CIA Director John Brennan: " I called his [Trump's] behavior treasonous, which is to betray one’s trust, and to aid and abet the enemy,” Brennan said Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press.” “And I stand very much by that claim.”"[3]

CIA Director Michael Hayden: Regarding Trump stealing top secret documents from the U.S. government that put U.S. intelligence agents at risk of execution, "Hayden responded to a tweet on Thursday by presidential historian Michael Beschloss, who noted that Julius and Ethel Rosenberg, Americans who were convicted of spying on behalf of the Soviet Union, were “convicted for giving U.S. nuclear secrets to Moscow, and were executed June 1953.”Hayden, who previously served as director of the National Security Agency and the CIA under former Presidents Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Barack Obama, replied to the tweet: “Sounds about right.”"[2]

"The retired Air Force four-star general wholeheartedly concurred Wednesday night with an Aug. 12 Twitter post by Financial Times associate editor Edward Luce that read: “I’ve covered extremism and violent ideologies around the world over my career. Have never come across a political force more nihilistic, dangerous & contemptible than today’s Republicans. Nothing close.”“I agree,” Hayden wrote. “And I was the CIA Director.”"[5]

Glenn Kirschner: "Donald Trump launched a coup.""We know he did," the legal expert continued. "I would even go so far as to say that what Donald Trump did qualifies as treason." Kirschner then laid out how treason is defined by federal law.

8 U.S. Code § 2381 states: "Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States."

Kirschner contended that "we know" Trump "inspired," "encouraged" and "incited" his supporters to attack the Capitol. "We know he launched the attack by telling his angry mob that he had whipped up" to march to the Capitol and to "fight like hell." The legal expert said, based on reporting, that "we know" members of Trump's administration and family members urged him to "call off the attack and condemn the violence," but he did not."[4]
