As reported by Daily Beast's Alex Nguyen, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken's State Department has labeled China's Nazi-like concentration camps "crimes against humanity" and "genocide", making him one of UpRights News' heroes of the week.
"The U.S. State Department has labeled the Chinese government’s Uyghur camps as “crimes against humanity” and “genocide.”".[2]
"The Uyghurs, alternatively spelled Uighurs, Uygurs or Uigurs, are a Turkic ethnic group originating from and culturally affiliated with the general region of Central and East Asia. The Uyghurs are recognized as native to the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region in Northwest China. They are one of China's 55 officially recognized ethnic minorities. The Uyghurs are recognized by the Chinese government as a regional minority and the titular people of Xinjiang.
The Uyghurs have traditionally inhabited a series of oases scattered across the Taklamakan Desert within the Tarim Basin. These oases have historically existed as independent states or were controlled by many civilizations including China, the Mongols, the Tibetans and various Turkic polities. The Uyghurs gradually started to become Islamized in the 10th century, and most Uyghurs identified as Muslims by the 16th century. Islam has since played an important role in Uyghur culture and identity.
An estimated 80% of Xinjiang's Uyghurs still live in the Tarim Basin. The rest of Xinjiang's Uyghurs mostly live in Ürümqi, the capital city of Xinjiang, which is located in the historical region of Dzungaria. The largest community of Uyghurs living outside of Xinjiang are the Taoyuan Uyghurs of north-central Hunan's Taoyuan County. Significant diasporic communities of Uyghurs exist in other Turkic countries such as Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Turkey. Smaller communities live in Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Australia, Russia and Sweden.
Since 2014, the Chinese government has subjected Uyghurs living in Xinjiang to widespread human rights abuses, including forced sterilization and forced labor, in what has been described as genocide. Scholars estimate that at least one million Uyghurs have been arbitrarily detained in the Xinjiang internment camps since 2017; Chinese government officials claim that these camps, created under CCP general secretary Xi Jinping's administration, serve the goals of ensuring adherence to Chinese Communist Party (CCP) ideology, preventing separatism, fighting terrorism, and providing vocational training to Uyghurs. Various scholars, human rights organizations and governments consider abuses perpetrated against the Uyghurs to amount to crimes against humanity, or even genocide."[3]
"The Xinjiang internment camps, officially called vocational education and training centers (Chinese: 职业技能教育培训中心) by the government of China, are internment camps operated by the government of Xinjiang and the Chinese Communist Party Provincial Standing Committee. Human Rights Watch says that they have been used to indoctrinate Uyghurs and other Muslims since 2017 as part of a "people's war on terror", a policy announced in 2014. The camps have been criticized by the governments of many countries and human rights organizations for alleged human rights abuses, including mistreatment, rape, and torture, with some of them alleging genocide. Some 40 countries around the world have called on China to respect the human rights of the Uyghur community, including countries such as Canada, Germany, Turkey, Honduras and Japan. The governments of more than 35 countries have expressed support for China's government. Xinjiang internment camps have been described as "the most extreme example of China's inhumane policies against Uighurs".[4]
The camps were established in 2017 by the administration of CCP general secretary Xi Jinping. Between 2017 and 2021 operations were led by Chen Quanguo, who was formerly a CCP Politburo member and the committee secretary who led the region's party committee and government. The camps are reportedly operated outside the Chinese legal system; many Uyghurs have reportedly been interned without trial and no charges have been levied against them (held in administrative detention). Local authorities are reportedly holding hundreds of thousands of Uyghurs in these camps as well as members of other ethnic minority groups in China, for the stated purpose of countering extremism and terrorism and promoting social integration."[4]
"Around 2015, according to Chinese Human Rights Defenders, a senior CCP official argued that "a third" of Xinjiang's Uyghurs were "polluted by religious extremist forces", and needed to be "educated and reformed through concentrated force."
At about the same time, the Chinese state-security apparatus was developing a "Integrated Joint Operations Platform" (IJOP) to analyze information which was collected from its surveillance data. According to an analysis of this software by Human Rights Watch, a member of a minority group might be assessed by the IJOP as falling under one of 36 "person types" that could lead to arrest and internment in a re-education camp. Some of these person types included:
- people who do not use a mobile phone,
- who use the back door instead of the front,
- who consume an "unusual" amount of electricity,
- have an "abnormal" beard,
- socialize too little,
- maintain "complex" relationships,
- have a family member that exhibits some of these traits and so is "insufficiently loyal"."[4]
Here it is important to note that China has long been influenced by the Privilegium maius-forged royal Habsburg crime family's and Jeffrey Epstein's Britain and and the Habsburg crime family's and ICC's child trafficker's Russia, and where the Habsburg crime family's Edward VIII, a Freemason, also gave rise to the Habsburg crime family's WWI military asset, Adolf Hitler, and his and their Nazis in WWII, who were also aided by Russia at the beginning of WWII, who later "engineered" Trump and the Habsburg crime family's Brexit candidates into power in 2016. U.S. Freemasons loyal to the Habsburg crime family, FDR and Harr Truman, having been born out of their regime along with Hitler, served as the counterpoint to the WWII grift, best summarized by the Habsburg crime family's royal and/or otherwise, Hans Adam, who specified that the strategy was to "scare the public" and into a "sacrifice of blood and treasure", as revealed to Dr. S. Greer.
The Habsburg crime family is also responsible for the Transatlantic Slave Trade in the Americas.
Accordingly, it should come to no shock that under the influence of the Habsburg crime family's Britain and Russia, that the Habsburg crime family's influenced China should be involved in the same sort of concentration camps used by murder-for-profiteering, and where slave labor has long been used by the Habsburg crime family to finance their organized crime syndicate and/or proxies, continuing in China.
For these reasons, Secretary Blinken is one of our heroes this week. Bravo.
